Some boys do not know how to talk to girls they like. So if they have to be mean to be around them, at least they are in the persons presence they like. Plus you may pay attention to when he is mean to you. Is it when his friends are around? Could be that his friends would give him a hard time for seeing someone. But good thing is, if he is nice and flirty when you are alone together, then he likes you.

bc they have to keep up the tuff guy mentallity as well as let u know they like u yet cant let their boys know they like u alot or their friends will give them crap its all stupid but its how they are god forbid they just tell their boys to get bent and just tell / show a girl they like them
