I would check out the Nike styles, especially the Nike Air styles. They are very stable, as well as being lightweight. Some of the midcut styles will help with stability for side to side motion. The air styles will give you the extra cushion for those hard shots and stops. If you have a slightly wider foot check out Adidas and Diadora, they are both a bit more curved for the wider foot so that you won't get rubbing and blisters on the sides of your feet. Make sure you try them on with the socks you will be wearing, so you get a proper fit. You will probably want to fit the cleat a bit more snug, possibly by one half of a size, which is 1/3 of an inch; so that you don't have too much room in front of your toes. You don't want to be sliding forward and not getting the support you need. You will probably be better off to spend at least sixty dollars or higher to get the cushion and stability you need as a midfielder. Make sure you try both on and fit to your dominent side. If you are right -handed, your right foot should be slightly larger. Good luck and have a great season!

Dude I play midfield and I have bought many pairs in my time. The best that I have found were Nike Air Zoom Total 90 III FG. They were so light and they fit perfectly around the foot and were careful. They were the only pair of cleats that I have found that after 90 minutes i didn't feel the cleats through the bottom of the shoe.

I have tried the others too. All the adidas cleats that I have ever purchased didn't fit right. They were very accurate but at the cost of speed. I don't know why it was. They just didn't form to my foot as well.

This year I want to try out the Nike Mercurial Vapor series. But yah that first pair is the best that I have ever found.

A light boot doesn't really affect your playing, as long as they're not as heavy as baskeyball shoes you'll be okay, they only use it as a way to make their cleat more marketable. I don't really understand what you mean by a 'quick' boot but I'm guessing it allows you to move quick, all cleats for soccer are made for you to move quick. But I find the Nike Tiempos the best, they're feel great, not heavy at all, great feel for the ball, & last quite a long time.

Do you mean cleats or shoes? Well I have total 90 cleats from nike. They're okay. Shoes: Adidas copa mundial, best shoes I've ever played in. They are much lighter then f. exa. nike vapor, I have a pair of vapor but never use them 'cause nothing beats copa.

Adidas or any other soccer cleat product from Sports Mart, Sports Authority. Stay away from the cheap cleat stores because those can get damaged easily or you can hurt your feet / ankles. You don't want to have to see a pediatrist.

Shoes don't make you a better player. I would buy a pair that are light and are comfortable. If your shoes are heavy you are using more energy more around so your legs will wear out sooner. Finding a pair that is comfortable is key because your feet are doing the work. Don't get sucked into buying something just because others wear them, find what is right for you

Adidas Predator Pulse. I use them, they are VERY good. Other than that, you could either get the new Nike Air Zooms, or the Puma v 1.06.

1. Adidas Pulse
2. Puma v 1.06
3. Nike Air Zoom (the ones Rooney has)
