I have Wireless set up in my home. I connect fine to the wireless network almost all of the time. I lose my connection when another user within range shows up in my list of networks. The network is non prefered, and it is security enabled, so I cannot connect to it. I cant connect my wireless at all when this network is in range, and I dont know how to fix it. Can someone tell me a way to fix this?

You have to change your channel. You should have a manual or a disc that explains to you how to do this with your particular router.

In your priority list there is a properties button for each network listed. Just go into the priorities and uncheck the box that says connect when this network is in range.

double click on your wireless in your start menu, highlight the one that is in your house, hit connect. If that doesn't work, hit the search for wireless connection, it will find all of them, highlight yours then hit connect. Good luck.
