well i wear stuff from prep stores (abercrombie, hollister) but i dont really talk like a prep

of course not, i hang out with preps and normal people. You can be what you want but establishing a reputation takes a long time. and all preps aren't bad people either, i know some genuanly nice, funny preps that are just a blast to hang out with. Have fun and be yourself, but be nice to other people even if you are popular.

No. Everyone is still an individual no matter who you hang out with. I have some of the coolest and loud associates but I am a quiet, shy person. "Saved By the Bell? Remember? Everyone was an individual on that show, but only one was called "Preppy" :D

You just be you.Don't care about what ppl say.they don't know what they r missing.just because u hang out with a specific group does not mean u r that group unless u want to.just tell those ppl that tell u that,that 'they r good friend just because i hang out with them does make me like them.'

Yes!! Their cooties are extremely virulent and will infest you after only a brief period of contact. You will start wearing AF outfits and find that you are bored with just about everything and everyone except yourself. So please be careful We can't afford to lose you!

yes.
i used to hate preppy stuff. and then, i started hanging out with preppy people.
I slowly stopped listening to Rap/Hip-Hop and R&B, even though I still like them, and started listening to Pop music.
I started liking my school.
I started wearing AE, Hollister, and A&F.
Hanging out with preps transforms anybody.
