no, i've been married 34 years today and i don't look like my husband, but he and our dog favor!

I do agree. I always get told that I look like both my parents. If that's so, doesn't mean that my parents look alike.

It's all in the facial expressions and mannerisms. Because they've been together for so long they start to mirror each other. That's what makes them seem like they look like each other.
So I guess I agree somewhat, but not really.

Not necessarily. My great grandma and great grandpa didn't look anything alike! He was super tall and she's this tiny thing. I think it's a fallacy.

I think that it is sometimes true.I have wondered what exactly happens that causes this. It neat to know that someone else noticed this. I wondered if maybe they had such a close relationship or after so many years of being together. .

Lol, that would be creepy if my Mom looked like my Dad. They have been married for 22 years, my Mom still looks like my Mom and my Dad still looks like my Dad ... except they look older, of course. I think that applies more with animals. My uncle has a bulldog ... my uncle looks like a bulldog.

lol. i would die if i started growing facial hair, my stomach got really round and my chest starting growing hair. my husband and i think alike, but we certainly don't 'look' alike!
