In life you have to pick your battles. Some battles are just not worth fighting. Sometimes wisdom tells you to turn the other cheek; other times it tells you to run; other times it tells you to fight like a crazed wolverine. There is a right response in every circumstance, and the response will change according to the circumstance.

Being a coward means the problem is still with you eg playing on your mind. There may also be other aspects such as guilt (blaming yourself for being 'cowardly'). Letting go means you have adopted a perspective that allows you to feel positive (or as positive as possible) about the situation and move on.
Personally, I think there are many ways of dealing with problems and that being cowardly is still a way to grow and learn. If you are honest and accepting with yourself, you will try other ways of dealing with situations and this attempt in itself is courageous.

NO i have never confused "letting go" of a problem with being a coward..Who EVER told you that crap???when you let go of a problem....you have done the best you could with it...and give it to the universe to handle after that...or do what you can then just give it to GOD>>>and it some nosy person brings it up...just say..."you know i have had to let go of that" and just walk away...they will get the message after that...if they don't..... just keep walking...those stupid idiots!!!

No, they are two VERY different things. Cowards are the ones who back away from problems that are their responsibility, and letting go is what smart peole do when they know a conflict has gone on too long. WOW I sound like Dr. Phil!

No, the two are completely different. "Letting go" refers to something you should do, when the time is right. being a coward is doing nothing. ever.
