doesnt anyone in america think its rude and childish that majority of our country is totally disrespectful to our president? i think our country is extremely lucky to have the freedoms we have, unlike many other terrible governments around the world who can't move left or right and are forced into unfair monarchies. i know that our own soldiers are dying in Iraq, but they are serving for a country that wants to make peace and help the suffering that is happening right before our eyes. i feel very privelged to live in such a great country knowing i can practice any religion, have any job, and have freedom to say what i feel, like we're doing right now, among many other freedoms. i dont understand why anyone would dare to abuse such a gift, especially by mocking and complaing about our president. he is not killing his own people or enjoying to see such suffering. he may not fix every single problem going on here but i sure know he is trying. if anyone would like to comment, please do so.

As the mother of a 20 year old solider that died in Iraq. I hope and pray that Americans will remember the attacks of 9/11 and even if the reason that we went have been proved wrong we are there lets do let these heroes die in vain. The president is and easy target to blame and because we are free we have the right to say anything we want BUT i would love to hear the same people that but him down come up with solutions that are workable for what ever they are complaining about,

You kind of answer your own question, talking about the freedoms we (still) have and wondering why people mock Bush. In the first place, he's emimently mockable, given his malapropisms and general ineptitutde, to say nothing about his unfitness for office. (Anyone who believes that he's not in over his head is not looking at the facts objectively.)

But the bigger question is that you seem to imply that Bush granted us the rights we enjoy, and that we should be grateful for them. Bush has done nothing if not ignore and mock that very Constitution that -- not he -- gave us our rights as Americans.

You also seem to confuse dislike of the President with dislike of America. It's funny how I didn't hear these same talking points when Clinton or Carter was President; it's only when a Republican is in office that criticism is mistaken for disloyalty.

My personal belief is that Bush is the most incompetent, corrupt, and dishonest man ever to occupy the office of President. The reason I criticize is him not that I hate America, but that I love it so much that I want a man (or woman) as good as America and its people to be President, and Bush just isn't that man.

The sooner he and his cronies leave office, the better off we all will be.

AWWW... YOU GUYS GOING TO CRY FOR ME....

MAYBE YOU GUYS SHOULD SHUT THE F*CK UP NEXT TIME A DEMOCRAT IS IN OFFICE INSTEAD OF SLAMMING HIM 24-7... BUT THAT WOULD REQUIRE YOU NOT BEING A TOTAL HYPOCRITE...

SHOW US AN EXAMPLE OF HOW IT'S DONE....

YOU GUYS DROPPED THE BAR TO THE FLOOR IN THE 90S... NOW YOUR GOING TO CRY ABOUT IT?

hahaha... if people who talk bad about the president are "un-American" about 90 percent of America has been "un-American" at some point in the past 20 years...

it almost seems more "un-American" to not slam the president, since the majority of America does it so freely...

You don't like one of our basic freedoms, the right to free speech? The fact that we can speak our minds, either for or against a particular public servent or policy or event, is what keeps us from being forced into unfair monarchies. We must speak out for what we belive in. If we took our mothers' advice of "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything" we would be remiss in our duties as citizens and we would damn ourselves and destroy the freedoms you, and we, hold so dear.

"The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress." Joseph Joubert, Pensées, 1842

Being able to speak freely is what America is all about. Do you suggest we blindly follow our leaders even if we don't agree with them?? If you want to do that you should move to a communist regime where people are told what to think and what to say. Bush is an ELECTED official and is therefore accountable to the people. Don't confuse our freedoms with blind allegiance. A lot of brave people have died just so we can tell Bush exactly what we think of him!!!!

well that is his job!! All the president is is a face for us to like/dislike or blame all of our problems on, while a group of guys are in an office trying to run the country. It is not cool, but heck it is a paying job right.

Sorry but respect doesn't come automatically with being president. It has to be earned. Does he deserve our respect? I don't think so. How can I respect someone who misrepresented the reasons for going to war in which thousand of americans and 100,000 Iraquis have died? How can I respect someone who has no respect for the most important document in our country's history?

I think it's funny that you think it's rude and childish NOT to respect him. I think it's negligent TO respect him

It is absolutely RUDE, CHILDISH, TRAITOROUS,
TREASONOUS,and these IDIOTS need another wake-up call, I think. BTW, the same thing happened when the Vietnam War was on and you see what the outcome was when the USA pulled out, over 4 million Vietnamese and Cambodians were murdered by the communists. The same will happen if we pull out of Iraq and then that'll
show the Islamo-fascist terrorists that we are weak and they will perform another 9/11 type attack on this country that will be much, much worse than 9/11/01.

Actually, it's the liberals who lied....the pres has been FULLY vindicated. As for deaths, more people died in the military under Carter, when ZERO military action was taken in the world anywhere, than died under Bush when we had wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq. That is PHENOMENAL.

As for the liberal scum who keep disrespecting our president. Everyone knows that they are traitors who are allied with communists and terrorists against their own people. That is the ONLY motivation they have and people know it. They see what these dipshits are doing and understand exactly where they are coming from. This has caused normal people to reject them in large numbers. The democratic party, more and more, has been revealed as being completely in control of these traitors. That's why their numbers are so low and why they are about to get completely marginalized (like they aren't already) this election.
