True, and it is NOT a gerund!! A gerund is the ing form of the verb used as a noun. The personal pronouns have three cases: nominative, objective, and possessive. If used as a subject, (I,he, she, we, they) that pronoun is in the nominative case.

True, but gerunds (as one answerer said) have nothing to do with pronouns. A gerund is a present participle that's used as a noun.

Ex. Skiing is my favorite activity. Skiing is a gerund.

YES. He, she, you (as subject), we, and they are personal pronouns in the nominative case always. Him, her, you (as objective), us, and them are personal pronouns but in the objective case or the object of the sentence.
