Of course it has. It's where I get most of the news that you don't get through the major media outlets. I also like to hear what other people are saying about current events and a wide variety of other topics.

It has changed the way I look at news. Whichever end of the political spectrum you are on, it is good to "listen to the enemy". For example if you are left leaning, listen to conservative talk radio. If you are right leaning, listen to NPR and Air America. Either way, you will find it expands your understanding of what is going on in the world. It probably won't change your mind, but it will give you more than one perspective of an issue.

And then listen to whoever took Art Bell's place on late night radio.

I do listen to talk radio often but there is a lot you have to filter through and take what you can from it.
