And wasn't gross at all , its just a movie pretty good scenario

SAW was simpler - more of a psychological thriller. Two guys wake up in a bathroom chained to opposite ends of the room and are given a rusty saw that can't saw the handcuffs, but could saw off their own legs...they gradually begin working out why they are there and what their captor wants.
Basically about whether a person's will to survive is stronger than their intolerance to pain.
SAW II kept the theme going, but was incorporated more actual gore - people trapped in a house being pumped with toxins are trying to get to the antidotes through a series of deadly traps with the same flavour as the first film. And watching as the killer from the original film and a cop....
I certainly wouldn't let kids see it, but it is a little cleverer than your average horror flicks!

I've seen part of Saw but haven't seen Saw II yet.

I "saw" both.lol. The second one definately had some major plot twists. I loved them both. Part 3 is coming out next month right before halloween i think. As far as i seen Part 3 is also gonna be a twister. Should be interesting to see what they came up with for this one. You should definately watch them.

Saw is probably one of the most intelligent scary movies ever made....it is great! Saw II was ok, but not as smart as the original. Saw III is coming out on Halloween--so excited to see it.

I've seen the first Saw. Yeah, that's an f-ed up movie. My boyfriend has seen Saw 2, he says it's worse, so I don't want to see it.

Yes, I saw the first one. They're twisted to the point of being perverse and incredibly disturbing. I had no idea it was so dark before I saw it. It's sick, incredibly sick. Whoever wrote it had serious problems.
I don't find perverse horror amusing. I'd rather see a nice comedy or a drama.

I haven't seen Saw II yet, but the best part of Saw for me was checking out the trivia on IMDB.com That website is addictive. I've got all my family addicted to it. When you check out the trivia, go to some of your other favorite movies and check out their trivia. You'll be hooked!

My initials are SAW so when I first heard about the movie, I REALLY wanted to see it, but now, the few scenes I have seen were too gross so...no I haven't seen either one.

Saw them both. The first one was pretty good. The second was good too but not as good as the first.
