I think that the idea of desperately trying to modify one's body in order to "land a man" contradicts feminism, although I'm sure you're well aware.
It puzzles me how someone can ask an interesting question about fulfillment, and yet have come out with this crap. At least think critically:
+ Volume 97, no. 3 of the British Journal of Psychology isn't in print yet, except for subscribers. Therefore, our only description of the findings is that they are "slight". How slight, I have yet to find out - but if the findings were merely statistically significant, they might have been very slight indeed. "Hungry men go for fatter women" is to draw a strong conclusion out of study that only had 61 participants, with statistics yet unknown, and a population that does not necessarily generalize to the entire gender.
+ In fact, the point of the study wasn't to prove that hungry men go for fatter women, it was to demonstrate how ethnicity affects our perceptions of attraction. Overweight women are considered more attractive in developing countries, where weight is a sign of health, because people starve. In our society, where most people do not starve, weight is a sign of unhealthiness - and thinness is a sign of self-control and a more favourable personality - it is considered less attractive.
+ Thus, when Western men are hungry, they revert to the same condition faced by cultures which starve: the survival instinct to find someone who can provide, or doesn't need to be provided for, and who is healthy.
In conclusion, investigate a study properly when you hear about "a team of psychologists from ____ University recently found that ____, as it published in ____." The media tends to distort things and turn them into "pop psychology".
And, of course, what any of this has to do with feminists is your own mystery.

You're an imbecile. A feminist is someone who believes women have the same rights as men do - that they shouldn't just stay at home cook and clean and look after the children - not necesarily someone who takes offence at the word "snowMAN".
Proud to admit I'm a feminist. As I'm sure are most people.
