What are cookies and what do they do. Woulf they remove a block i have on the internet. How do i get to it and how do i erase it. What happens if i delete the cookies? PLEASE HELP THANKS TO ALL!!!!

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer when you go to a certain webpage to save settings for a certain website cookies also keep you loged in to sites like Myspace. (Example: If your loged on to Myspace and delete your cookies you will get an error page(http://login.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=login.process )from Myspace saying you arent loged in) You need cookies to log on to most if not all sites and or email. Cookies are needed for many things on the web. Cookies also help websites collect information about thier users.

Cookies are small files that identify you on websites, such as yahoo, hotmail, msn, etc. If you eliminate all of them, you'll just have to put in all your information again. There is a malware program that you can physically delete the cookies you don't want.

cookies are files that pass back and forth between you and websites, they have personally identifiable information in them and can be good or bad or indifferent
if you toss your cookies :) you will just have to re-enter all your logins and passwords, but you may lose a bunch of malware in the process
Internet Explorer>Internet Options>Delete Cookies, while you're there delete all files (and offline content) as well, it will make your anti-virus program happy

Cookies are internet shortcut files. You can delete cookies but do not blick them because if they are blockes some web pages will not load correctly.

yea theother guys have it right to but i like the round cookies with chips the chocolate kind that go well with milk one of my ex bosses aked me bout cookies and i told him this same thing then helped him remove them from his puter
