How can you find out someone you know that you didn't know was on yahoo and you want to talk to them,how do u?

I want to see if anyone I know is on yahoo.

Well, you could do a search for people in your area but the chances of you finding someone you actually know are slim. If you want a particular person you'd have to know their screen name.

To search for someon on yahoo you got to know their ID. Why don't you just ask your friends if they are on yahoo?
