It probably happens all the time. Its just woman probably get along with other women. They know each other's secrets and can help each other out better than a man understanding. Sometimes, it just happens.

my girlfriends sister has slept with all her best friends. I don't know about that. how can you call yourself happily married and continue an affair. once that is understandable but not more than that. more than that you are in the wrong place with the dude

It definitely happens, probably more often straight women want to admit. The sad thing is she's cheating on her husband, he'll probably have a hard time ever trusting her again; and she's probably going to break her friend's heart by deciding it's best to go back to him. No one wins. It's best to just leave it alone.

the former/current president of the Australia Medical Society (?) left her fully fledge family (teenage kids at that time) to be with her best friend.
she's a specialist doctor too. Her husband must be a rich man taking into account the divorce settlements.
