5 quarts and make sure you pull both drain plugs. The 5 liter ford engine has 2 plugs on your car one in the front and one in the back of your oil pan.

How many did you put there? Seriously, a 5.0 is a small block V/8. Ford's engines require 5 Quarts with the filter. If you change oil and don't replace the filter (stupid idea) you'll only be 4 quarts down.

actually it is 5.3 quarts with the filter but stop at 5 but this is the correct number of quarts it will hold
