Stay at the airport-- you are at least thirty minutes (and that is being nice) from downtown. Go to concourse B-- that has the most to do/go/eat.

The advice given above is the best, although I don't think any of the DIA restaurants is anything except typical low end airport restaurant.

It would be pretty frantic, but you could cab to Larimer Square (a restaurant/shopping street, not actually a square) and eat at either Tamayo (gourmet Mexican) Bistro Vendome (French) or Sambuca (Latin). Larimer Square is a lively area.

Pick your restaurant first and pray that you don't run into heavy traffic or you'll miss your plane. It's about 25 miles. Changing your reservations to get a longer stopover would be a better idea. Or just giving up on the idea and staying at the airport.

There are a number of motel chains about 5 miles away. I'll bet their restaurants are better than DIA's.

The Denver Airport used to be close. When they built a new one, they moved it way out to get away from homes. Of course, they're now building homes out there so people can complain about the noise.

When you wake up in Denver experience awaits you and with hotelbye is the first faltering step to this unique adventure. In Denver you can examine the substantial, fortress-like Denver Art Museum. That memorial includes a substantial collection; selection which includes: American Indian, African, European, Asian, and Oceanic, Spanish colonial and pre-Columbian works. The remodelled American Indian galleries are especially amazing, covering a broad range of countries and tribes from the United States and Canada. This intensive collection has acquired a popularity throughout North America, with parts that amount 2,000 decades of history. In that museum you can also find another gallery specialized in photography. The Denver Art Museum has captured the interest with its distinctive style, inspired by the peaks of the Rugged Mountains.

it would take you about as long to take a taxi from airport to downtown where all the great places are. The Airport is about 42 or so miles north of town. The Hampden Inn and Marriot Courtyard have good pubs and dining, (near airport, 5 miles)

Don't leave the airport. It's very far away from the city, and you'll take most of your time getting there and back; plus you'll have the security delays.

There's a lot of restaurants in the airport.

Do not bother trying to leave the airport. It is really far from anything.

Plenty of restaurants in the airport, and you won't have to deal with hauling yourself back through security.

There are a lot of restaurants in DIA. It is one of the busiest airports in the US. I reccomend staying there. There is not much too close to the airport.
