when choosing a partner, i think about how compatible our personalities are, not our looks. we aren't together to look good in front of other people or to make other people happy, we're together because we make each other happy. our children will be beautiful no matter what because they are the manifestation of our loves and our personalities, that's what really counts. and i think you're right, personality does = compatibility.

That, in my opinion, is the biggest load of rubbish ever. People should choose a partner for who they are not for how good they look, that smacks of shallow, and then those values can be passed on to their children and so on and so on. Imagine how much better the world would be?

No, I think of how happy I would be to spend time with that person.
What's the point of hanging out with some pretty little thing if she's a complete dullard, or if she's got a bad attitude?
Appearance is waaaaay down my list of things that are important in a partner.
I'd much rather be happy than eye-pleasing.
Having said that, my wife is drop-dead gorgeous.

Personality= 1/2 compatibility. You need to be attracted to them to procreate.
I think tastes very so much from person to person, looks do not matter anyways. Everyone is attractive to someone.
I think that HYGIENE matters most of all, and moral compatibility.

Noooo!! This dont matter,,Ive got a boyfriend and to be honest hes pretty HOT but im not! And im sure he didnt go looking for the prettyest gurl to get with! And you deffinatly shouldnt be thinking about what your children will look like! :D

It should never be the looks that matter it should be their personality, and companionship\ friendship. Never just go for looks always go with the personality that they have and I know sometimes that can fool you, but not all of the time. Good Luck

beauty is only skin deep. i have met a lot of blokes who are lookers but they have been complete t*ssers. some of the nicest blokes i have known have been nothing to look at but real gents
