play with someone who gives 110% and isn't that great, or play with someone who gives 60% and is good? Consider this question regarding a two-on-two team partner for a long period of time.

It all depends on how bad the 110% player is. Through practice and effort, the 110% player can get better.

Regarding the 60% player, as long as he's good in the clutch, and much better than the other guy, I'd take him.

There's nothing worse than being embarrassed by some retard running around full speed who doesn't know what he should be doing.

I would rather the person give 110% b/c I know that the person would be dependable. Why give 60 when you can give all? There is no half-stepping in life. Winning does not make you a winner.

i always say in 5 on 5 pickup basketball, you really only need 3.9 solid players to win.

the bad players, while maybe giving 110%, just won't help you win games.

in 2on2 matchups, you are required to have 2 solid players to win because there is a small margin of error and fewer options passing, defending and intangibles. you need someone to know what time it is or be dealt jokers.

110% is for those guys who always talk up guys like iverson. whose image precedes his game only slightly. this is no knock on IV but those guys who only like guys who play with all heart and emotion are usually the ones who fvck up a 2on2 game.

iverson is a rare mix of all three, heart-emotion-true athletic talent.

60 percent. If you try hard, but can't play, you are just wasting your time. Leave the 110 percent guy at home
