What happens at work (or better yet WHO happens) that drives you nuts..

It never ends. Just let me walk out in peace on Friday, and walk in the same way on Monday. Enough already!

(1) I get to be online at work but customers get to interfere via the phone, how fair is that?
(2) My colleagues don't always take those calls from the queue, as they don't realise I deserve to be left alone chatting away to the one I love.
(3) My work is not in Manchester.
All this is enough to spend most of my time contemplating if I should go back to a previous workplace I had near Chester, with a much nicer salary. But I never thought I'd be in Scotland wanting to be in England, after having been in England when I wanted to be in Scotland.. It's driving me insane.

The whole work scene drove me nuts--that's why I've been retired for 14 years. Seriously though, I could handle the worst boss any day but it was the other worker bees that drove me mad with their idiosyncrasies.

I am currently looking for another 'proper' job, just supplementing myself with a little freelance work right now.
The trouble is, having been born in Manchester, yet dreaming of my Scottish ancestors, I find myself with itchy feet.
I find more compelling reasons to venture North than to remain here, though my fondness for the North west will never leave me, my love lies elsewhere...

old people who call in for an appointment and they can't hear me so i have to yell into the phone and then when I'm trying to help them they cut me off---god and it just happened
i feel like I'm stuck in the sequel of office space, now all i need is to take the phones and the fax machine out back and stop the
s h i t out of them

I work in an office and when a person's cell phone rings really loud and they answer really loud. I hate that!
