i assumed everyone would say no to the question...so heres another way of looking at it.

we dont have enough information to really tell you....

sometimes we think we are being used,, when we also benefit from helping someone. also...if you are paying back a favor that someone did for you...are still being used.

you are being used all the time...and dont always know it...however, if you get no pleasure from being used, and you dont benefit in anyway...maybe you are not selfish for saying it.

oh yeah...and if you want to be used in an unselfish way...just e-mail me....lol

Good question, and deeper than most might think.

It maybe accurate, not selfish. But then, it could be selfish if you are a brat, and have to have things your way all the time.

We are, by and large, self-centered people. Recent changes in "politically correct" and programs to foster self-esteem, have generated a culture of self-centered brats.
It's called the "me" generation.

You are not responsible for it, but you may be a victim of it.

It's a good idea to begin to look at the needs and wants of others. Look outside your own wants ( they are wants, really!).
Begin to care for and about others.
Begin to care about other people's feelings.
Begin to put yourself in their place.
Begin to wonder if others are as comfortable as you. Do they have as much as you have. Do they eat as well. Do any of them go to bed hungry?

You may be being used by someone who doesn't do these things, and has to have his/her own way, or as some might say, "to have his cake and eat it too".

Maybe he's using you to meet his sexual needs, and otherwise couldn't care less about how you feel!
Then, yes, you are being used.

If you're being used, get out, and get a life!

No, you can only take so much and after that it just makes you mad. sometimes telling someone when there using you makes them realize what their doing. Some people are selfish and just don't care.

Not if you are. The question is why are you letting yourself be used if you are aware of it.
