How diverse is it where you live? We are in mid wales, our estate is crime free! You dont need to lock your doors here, kids can leave their toys out overnight, Theres a guy doing an extension he leaves all his tressils out etc no one would dream of knicking em! We have a great atmosphere here and everyone respects that! The diversity here is we're from all over the uk living here.

I have a neighbor who is a church freak on one side, who's husband has left for Iraq they have one child (a boy) who is a BIG sissy about everything .. I have a true boy who dosen't understand why he is scared to play on a trampoline or why he dosen't want to play pretend with life savors (star wars) or why his mom won't let him ride the bicycle ... On my other side I have a woman who is a neat freek she can't stand going to anybodies house who isn't clean and I don't mean normal everyday clean she wants it summer cleaning EVERY day .. He boy remineds me of Pee Wee Herman sirsealy voice and evrything and he hates it that My child is smarter than him so he won't play with him bacause of that . Yes this is what he has said ... I will not play with you till I can get as smart as you .. now seriously how screwed up is that ... My boy is going in to the second grade and I am teaching him division now ... He just likes numbers and I want to encourage his ability to understand them that is all ... He reads his signs and directions on stuff .. Anyway .. across from me is a new neighbor how had her first child and was a teacher (so she says) where she used to live .. She putts down people who take medicine for things no matter what ,, she seems to think if you have a headach or throwing up God is telling you something and you need to figure it out so you can fix it and you will get better ... I fear I am the only sane pearson around here and I have eplisouy, My boy takes pills for his ADHD, and my daughter is a dieabetic, So ... Needless to say I am alone here as well as my children are too ... I can't wait till we can move ... hopefully we will get some place with more normal people like us ... LOL ..

We are in a block of 3 houses,us in the middle. My partner is 35 and Im 34.On one side we have an old man of about 90 who lives alone and never speaks.ever.on the other side is an old asian woman of about 85 who chases the kids in the neighbourhood with her walking stick.Across the road we have skeletor,he is possibly 99 and his skin is like paper. It is like living in the cemetary with the coffin dodgers.I wish someone would move in and blast their music!!!!!! It is council houses, all the old people are in 3 bed houses, living alone. They should all be shipped out into bungalows, and let families in.

We live in an interesting and unique community also - black, brown, yellow, white, gay, straight, geniuses, dunces and every other mix and variety of the human race within a square mile or so. A real community spirit and a wonderful tolerance. We call it the centre of the universe. A fantastic place to live.

There are a single dad and son next door, preacher and his wife up the block, nurse and school teacher across the street, a lesbian couple behind our house and the neighborhood has blacks, whites, Puerto Ricans, and Guatemalans. Pretty cool, huh?
