They've been seperated for a least eight years now, and he does not have the money to file, but then again its only the filing fee , at least I think so.

I would not because I believe in karma. Even though it has been years he is not divorced, and say you guys date for a while but it does not work out are you not afraid that when you do find your husband to be he might cheat on you because technically you slept with another women's husband. Unless they have assets together you can get a divorce for under a $1000.00, and if he has been divorced for years he has come across a $1000.00 in those years trust me. Also if he was to die today and did not change any of his forms his wife would be entitled to his life insurance policy, and not you. I have no desire to be with anyone who can never fully be committed to me, and I definitely would not spend a long time with someone I could not benefit from being with them. Maybe that is selfish but time is to short, and life is to precious.

I would date a guy that was seperated from his wife only if it was going to end in a divorce. I would never date a married man that is still married. Why you ask, it is because I hate to be second best in a relationship.

It's been 8 years and he hasn't filed?

Don't date him.

Please, over 8 years, if he had put $5 a week aside, that's more than $250 a year, and he'd have plenty of money to file.

It's a lost cause; find someone else.

its okay to date a married man if its a no strings attached type of relationship or stricktly a sex thing, but have a relationship with a married man will never work. if a man is seperated for years theres no good reason why he hasn't gotten divorced

NO! NO! it doesn't matter if they are separated, the are still legal married, and he/she can get back to there spouse anytime, separating in a marriage doesn't necessary means it is over. They still can be married for financial reason, or children. If the marriage is truly over, then he/she would get a divorce, in the meantime stay away. How can you walk in one relationship, when the other isn't over?

Not unless I was a slut with no respect for the sanctity of marriage.
You are being played. After eight years if he still cannot afford a divorce he surely is a loser that cannot afford another relationship.
Your being told lies.
Move on.

Unless they're completely divorced of their spouse, I would not date them under any circumstance because there's always a chance they could get back together. If they haven't left their spouse yet after all these yrs, who's to say they ever will?

No and no. If they have been separated for years why haven't he or she gotten a divorce by now. Go into this relationship at your own risk, but in the end, you'll be the one getting played.

No way. If I knew they were married (even seperated) I wouldn't get involved.

I would not mess with a married man, even if his first love and him were seperated. They could be planning to get back together.
