I had my son 2 months ago and I am breast feeding so I know that I need to eat 500 calories more then normal...but it's like I can't stop eating. I am hungry all the time. I want to loose my baby weight but I can't stop eating. Any advice?

When I was nursing in the first months I was SOOOOO hungry!! There really isn't much you can do to stop the hunger, just make sure what you put in your mouth is good. Seriously, I couldn't buy cookies or ice cream because I would eat the whole box!! If you have to buy sweets buy small amounts so if you lose control it isn't devastating.
And it takes time to lose the weight, my son is 17 months old and I am almost to prebaby weight. And I wasn't big before, started out at 120 and gained about 50 pounds throught preg. Start doing some excercise and the weight will slowly come off.

How often are you nursing? Are you GAINING wt? Don't worry about your wt. or your "baby fat" right now.(Easier said than done!). You will not regret the extreme benefits of breast feeding including, but not limited to, the whole bonding issue. Nutritionally, intellectually, and of course(along with the bonding issue), emotionally, you baby will be much better off in the long run. Besides the colostrum, which the baby got initially, helps with a huge punch to the baby's over all immune system. Keep it up, and exercise, and eat sensibly, and remember, everything in moderation!
