8 hours on a non-school day;
40 hours on a non-school week; and
hours between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (except from June 1 through Labor Day, when evening hours are extended to 9 p.m.)

Yes but in most states the hours are severely limited and you bag groceries and sweep.

In London, we can work when we are 13, however we can only do certain hours. We can't do more than something hours in two days, for example. We can do casual work just as long as employers don't make us do excessive labour.

I think it depends on the state you live in. In my state, you can't have a job until you are 15.
