Matt Hasselbeck at Detroit or Jake Delhomme at home vs Atlanta?

No doubt in my mind, you go with Hass in DET. ATL def is set to be pretty good this year, plus its a tough division match up. DET has suspect D, and Seattle plays well in domes. You are lucky to have two solid perfomers at QB. The way I'd look at it is this: you can either ride the hot hand, or pick the QB playing the weakest D that week.

Hasselbeck is better but the Seahawks may kill the lions so Hasselbeck may not throw much. Delhomme may be the better pick but overall he's not.

Jake has the better recievers to toss it to then hassleback, but Matt has a suspect Detroit D and he just plain good. Tough choice ofr week one. I would go Jake here by a hair. He is going to get two TDs by way of Keyshawn or Smith or both.

Hasselbeck because Detroit plays in a dome, so there's no chance of weather playing any part, and the Lions defense is AWFUL.

Plus, he's found his receiver in Nate Burleson, who was a VERY good player in domes (Minnesota). Expect many TDs in that game.

Hasselbeck all the way....he should start every week but the bye, try and trade Jake for a RB or WR.

Being a huge Panthers fan I would say Jake.

Then again, they Panthers offensive this year looks to be able to dominate, and I just can't see Atlanta putting up a good enough fight to stop them. Jake, Jake!!

Start Hassleback...Detroit has no defense where as Atlanta picked up some defensive help in the off season. Start Hasselback.
