I don't see anywhere on the apple and ipod sites where you can download songs onto them, and i see that some that have 4 GB of memory on them are selling on ebay for $15 dollars? Is this deal too good to be true?

Apple's iPod mini--which the company discontinued during the month of Sept 2005 in favor of the new iPod nano--has seen almost 40,000 sales--both 4GB and 6GB models in every color--over eBay in the past three months. The eBay marketplace has 79 million registered users in the U.S., and is a real-time barometer of which products are "must-haves" during the holiday shopping season. The average eBay selling price for iPod mini was $194, while iPod nano boasted an average selling price of $221, seeing more than 16,000 sales on eBay since its introduction in September.
However, all the iPods from Apple are still capable of being downloaded to. I have an iPod mini and use it every other day and still download to it. I'll probably buy a newer one and just use this one for working out and such.

Ipod minis play mp3's, just like any other mp3 player. I don't know about the one for $15, but I do know that they no longer make mini accessories because it's been trumped by the nano, that's probably why the price is going down. But I have a mini and I download iTunes stuff and download it to my mini all the time. I'd look more into that deal, though.

hmm..i do no longer use itunes, i detect it bloated..and it leaves many pointless progs. engaged on my gadget. ..i take advantage of copytrans supervisor. you could try if that works for you. (you do want ipod drivers nonetheless. you should use copytrans driver first, it downloads drivers for ipod) . later use the copytrans supervisor to pass stuff backward and forward.

yes they do, it is the same basic program, just a little bit older
