It is easy for spammers/hackers to trawl these sites for email addresses.
Click on your nickname (above the avatar), Edit My Info , hide your email address from other users. That should stop it.

Asking a question won't lead to getting a virus on your pc. It's most likely to occur if you follow a link to some dodgy website or if someone e-mails you with an attachment. Always scan any attachments that are sent by e-mail. If you are unsure about a website try downloading McAfee site advisor (it's free)and check out the site before navigating there. Always keep your antivirus software up to date too.

THANKS Moi
I dont open them, but know my kids have in the past.. My hubby is in IT too, he would not be pleased if I was silly enough to open any file from unknown source, but felt people should be warned.

hi, that maybe a virus, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

Not if you don't give out your email address and don't make it public. And NEVER click on links that people post unless you know that it is a legitimate website. There are a lot of jerks around who think it's funny to ruin your day and you can never be sure who they are!

Anything that lets other people send you e-mail can lead to attempts to send you viruses.
