The person who did is probably the most embarrassed of all, so I think we must give the benefit of the doubt because some people have a problem with gas and cannot hold it but for so long. All right, it stinks...But try to turn the other way LOL... And in no time the door will open to new horizons and the rose garden... LOL
I use to work in a restaurant and as I was getting down a step to the outside patio that was filled with people and hands full of plates... It came out!!!...And for a second it was very silent...I laughed and said, sorry for the music... And everyone was in stitches.! We all had a ball that day! I'm retired now but instead of showing any emotions, I continued my work as if nothing happened ! It wasn't in an elevator though ! LOL

Sometimes although it is really disgusting, I sometimes find it funny because no one will show any emotion whether they are disgusted or what for fear of being blamed for it. I mean it can smell like to total sh**, but no one will even move. Everybody just faces the front of the elevator and gets off on the very next floor; even though they pressed a different button in the beginning of the ride.

Now that was utter torture of the 20th century. Being in a closed quarters where you can't run. Man the smell probably clung to everyone's clothes. If only a real lady was there with some of that body spray or even a match to relieve the tension. Thank God I wasn't in that predicament. I would have unloaded with some purse size air freshener.

Yes. I was visiting the Sears tower and it was a long way up and
someone farted and we had to wait a long time to get to the top.
I've been afraid of skyscraper elevators ever since lol. With
the exception of 9/11.

God created man so that he cannot be alone with his fellow man in a small compartment for very long.
Man was meant to roam free, where his farts will scatter amongst the seven winds.
