High student to teacher ratios.
Lack of materials.
Lack of hands-on experiences (schools don't have enough $$$).
Teaching to the test.
Students who don't value education.

Teachers, They send are kids home with 2 hours of homework and if your kid isn't the quickest, you have to sit there and help them to. Teachers are always complaining about money but do you see any of them telling you to back them up on any issues that concern us. I have 3 brothers and sisters that I told this to,(They are all teachers) and they hated me. But I also told them that if teachers did do this I would be the first one in line to vote for teacher rate hikes, and not just in those 5 star schools

Too many students, only one teacher.

Not having gender segregated schools.

Teachers who are adultist and who do not do enough facilitation of creativity and necessary skills such as writing, reading, math.

When I was there (granted, it was a long time ago), it was teachers who felt no need to show students an iota of respect.
