Mexican is not a race, silly. It's a nationality. You can be blonde, blue-eyed and Mexican. Many Mexicans are descended from the very White Spaniards anyway.
It's only those racist La Raza folks who pretend Mexican is a race.

You are a Racist, If your born in the USA your not a Mexican. If you want to be a Mexican go live in Mexico. Act like an American, and no one will care about your last name.

Well, believe it or not Christina Aguilera (yes the singer) is Mexican, and she has the case like you, blonde hair, blue eyes, light skin. I don't know a term you would fall under but race doesn't matter to me.

A human being.
but I know the feeling, I am white, my birth name was grablul, my mothers maiden name is rogers, however I was adopted by my step dad when I was 6 and mt name changed to Montano,
I am dark complected with dark hair, but a lot of folks think I am a Mexican, but my dad was Spanish, second generation and and very light complected with green eyes,
Point is a name first or last does not make you who you are so what difference does it make?
ether you are a good addition to the human race or you are not, simple as that.

I'm a proud Mexican American but many can confuse me as being white. everybody in my family is dark but my great grandmother came from Spain. we are what you called "mestizos". so if you have a Mexican background you should considere your nationality to be mexican.

Just be you and don't worry what others think of you as that is not important. Be proud of your heritage and your country you live in. I know it's hard under the current administration, but America was meant to be a place of democracy and hopefully one day it will be again.
