I was on Millenim Force and flew out on top of this one turn and it hurt!

Inertia

Many of the better coasters are designed so that you experience a number of forces during the ride. This would include being pushed down on your seat as well as the sensation that you are being "thrown out" of your seat.

The reason it happens is as you go flying up a hill, your body would continue up, but now, the train has headed down, so your body continues going up, until the train pulls you down. Ouch!

Yes, that's where it might hurt if you were not ready for it! But, rest assured, it was part of the design to move you all about, giving you some weightlessness as well as some nice other pushes/pulls.
