I'm not an expert on what qualifies officialy in each category, but my favorite animated movie is Ninja Scroll and favorite series is Ranma 1/2

My favorite anime is tied by 4 : Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell (both versions), the new Appleseed, and Akira.
Favorite anime TV show : Ghost in the shell : stand alone complex.
Favorite manga : Tied by Vagabond and Blade of the Immortal.

Neon Genesis Evangelion! I don;t care if everyone has a horiffic past, I don't care if the main character is an anti-hero (no hero characteristics) and that the main chracter is wimpy. I will always think it's the greatest anime ever!

my favorite anime movie is Mononoke Hime, i can't choose a favorite series because there is just so much wonderfull anime out there, and though i know this is going to come off as exceptionaly girly (me being a guy and all) i can't help but choose kare kano as my favorite manga. i'm a sucker for a good love story.

I like Hunter hunter, Hana yori dango, Hikaru no go, Slamdunk, The ravages of time. All these manga i can read over and over. So great
