Yeah, i know what you mean. Thats why all the posers like them and are "their biggest fans". Gosh, i was so in love with panic at the disco and still am, but there are all these people who say that they like them more and all they know is I write sins not tragedies. I am 100% with you on that one!!!

seroiusly I mean now I go around asking do you know AFI and the only song people know is Miss Murder I mean come on they have other songs too! I'm not saying Miss Murder sucks it's just people have to get to know more about a band than what they put on MTV! b.t.w MTV now sucks cuz they pass more reality shows than music

MTV is an excellent way to confuse the gd with the bad. The bands still get the attention it desperately needs so it still works out doesn't it?

Bands are in the business of making money, not making sure that only a few people listen to their music. I think it's a bit egotistical wanting to hoard a band and keep them to yourself. Mass marketing gets their music out to the biggest audience possible.

I think you value musicians a bit too highly. They sing and play instruments, they're not changing the world.

Taking this whole "I hate them 'cause now everybody knows them to its logical conclusion, any artist who really wanted to keep his artistic cred would never leave his own bedroom - maybe even never play the songs at all, but just think them up & forget them so they don't get "Too Popular".

Personally, I don't because it brings their music to a broader audience. Of course, it becomes overplayed, so you take the good with the bad.
