If u dont hold your breath, u might last a second or two.

They say, that the 'holding ur breath' builds pressure in your body, and that is what will make u explode.

if do the exact opposite, its possible to go from point a to point b (hopefully short distance) in space with just this kind of deal.

Explosive decompression! *grins* It'd be neat to film. The air would rush out of your lungs, fluids would gush out of your innards - eyes, ears, nose, mouth, the other end. Ick. You'd die in seconds.

Dave Bowman did it in the movie 2001 and survived. Obviously that was a movie, but I think Robert Heinlein, who wrote the story, based it on good science.
