Have you had your blood pressure taken lately? If it is really low, then you need to sit up & dangle your feet over the side of the bed before getting up. Don't get up suddenly. This gives your blood time to get to your brain.

It's probably just because you simply got up too fast. However, it can also be because your blood sugar is low or you haven't been eating or drinking (non-alcoholic beverages, of course) enough lately. If you ever feel weak, dizzy, or tired more than just after you stand up, try what I suggested. If you don't, just try getting up a little slower. Hope this helps!

May have an inner ear infection, a high fever, low blood pressure, or other health problems. You may need to see a medical physician. I had very bad equilibrium problems from sinus problems and having my braces worked on as it affected my sinuses greatly. Drinking and doing drugs is not the answer that was ignorant. I agree with many of the other answers as being probable. Once I got dizzy alot and later got a bad viral infection as a teenager along with I was severely dehydrated.

Your ears keep your balance, so there may be an inbalance of fluid in your ears. It's a good idea to visit the doctor if you're having frequent dizzy spells.

The same thing has happened to me for the past two days. I've been told that I'm not drinking enough water, but I don't know if that is the cause or not.

Well, obviously you should ask a doctor.
But, I know that low blood pressure, high blood pressure, poor leg circulation, allergies and even minor dehydration can all cause these things. So maybe get checked out just to be safe.
Hope you feel better soon.

It could be vertigo, an inner ear infection, or
low blood pressure. Take your time and slow down when you get up. You should call your Dr.
and tell him your symptoms. I'll bet one of the above is correct. There is medication available
for all three.

blood sugar level low or dehydration. Also if you have a sinus infection or fluid in your ears it could make you dizzy. Probably not too serious unless it goes on for 3 or more days or the condition worsens--if so see your doc.
