well for 1 thing he didnt get it on right.1st you have to put the crank on top dead center 2nd you have to alighned the cam sproket so the guage hole lines up,then loosen the tensioner up and put the belt on and then tighten the tensioner so you can twist the belt half way.so thats why the it shakes,he didnt get the belt on right.

What whole area? You've got to be a bit more specific in your questions if you expect a helpful answer.

It's possible the new belt wasn't tensioned properly, and now it's slipped a tooth, and your cam timing is off. That could cause a pretty good engine vibration.

first off you dont say what make and model . the belt could be a tooth off or if the engine has a balance shaft may be its not aligned properly or your mechanic has left something loose, a cover, a bracket, could be anything . best to take it back and ask to have it looked at.

dont worry about why, take it back and tell them it shouldnt of happened and you want it repaired right because as the above said, it could of jumped a tooth or something could be left loose.
