Good for you for even questioning it! Even if it WAS ok, you still have the choice to say NO THANKS!..he can give you the normal mode of taking your temp. He should also have a nurse in the room with him as well if he's doing that sort of thing. Failing all that, you take an adult woman whom you trust in there with you. If he's "hinky", that'll make him change his mind. You stand up for yourself girl!!

Hi, Lily, I see you are fantasizing about going to the doctor's office again. This fascination of yours with being molested is really not healthy. But besides that, the problem with yelling "fire" all the time, is that if you ever really do need help...or are molested for real...those that might be able to help you won't take you seriously.

Grow up, little girl.

It is totally unnecessary. There are have been thermometers for years that will give an instant reading from your ear and nowadays even from your forehead. It look like he's an old perv. And even he's not an old perv, he's hopelessly out-of-date.

Lastly-do your parents know about this man?

It doesn't matter what the proper routine is, if YOU don't feel comfortable with it, you don't have to. You have the right to refuse.
