call the hospital or go to the hospital...........say you are a family member

There are federally mandated laws about confidential medical information. If you cannot prove you are a family member, no ethical medical person will give you any information, and even then, family members often have to have a release from the patient, or a medical power of attorney to get all the information there is.

You'll have to ask a family member for information. Some hospitals now actually have a code for each patient, and if the caller does not have that code, then they cannot give any information out.

I guess you are not a family member so they would not give info over the phone.I guess the only thing you can do it's to go there and try to get some info.
