I don't want to offend anyone with the question I just asked it out of curiosity because my Grandma was getting mad at this interview with Welsey Snipes because he had said that he doesn't like to date Black women because they are too materialistic. But I'm not sure the article was completely factual.

I think a lot of people date out of their races and they seem to bash their own race. I date outside my race but I would never hurt my Black brothers.

A person likes who they like. If I liked someone, I would date them. I dated my own race and I dated outside my race. I had great experiences with all.

I married outside of my race because the love of my life doesn't happen to be the same race as me.

Older people of all races are slower to warm up to the idea. It's more a reflection of the times they grew up in. If you date outside your race, this is something you'll probably have to deal with (both your own family and his). Try to keep in mind where that the older people grew up in a completely different era, and it's just harder for them to wrap their mind around the idea. Try not to hate them for it.

That said, if a person dates outside their race, they should be prepared to handle the static some people will try to give you about it. You'll show everyone how much class you have by the way you both handle yourselves during these awkward moments.

Too few people find love in the world. When you love somebody and they love you, too-- well, you should hold on no matter what.

I am a 22 year old white female. I have dated white men, black men, rican men. Too me it doesnt matter what race they are.. its who they are in the inside. Questions i ask myself are.. do i think this person appreciates me for me? Does this person want to help me? Does this person care about me.. twesley snipes was silly to say that.. and its a very racist statement.. one cannot say that he doesnt date one race because of some trait.. thats saying every black woman is materialistc.. but wake up.. i know women of every color who are materialistic.

It sounds like Wesley Snipes has given into sterotypes! I don't think it's fair to say that black women are materialistic, it's like saying all blond women are dumb! In any case, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with dating outside your won race or ethnic group!

this is now not a remember of 'having' to be interested in adult males and females human beings of distinctive races while you at the instant are not, yet customarily Indian human beings can come during as rather racist in this section. case in point, i'm engaged to an Indian guy, and that i'm white. we are the two a protracted way happier with our relationship than we could desire to have been with human beings of our own races. My fiance would not locate Indian women human beings beautiful, bodily or mentally and customarily i don't to find white adult adult males beautiful the two. regardless of this, in spite of the shown fact that, i've got had greater Indian persons than I care to do not forget approximately giving me unusual seems when I tell them that i'm engaged to every physique who's Indian, and that i've got even had many ask such audacious questions as 'do his mom and pa locate out approximately you'. it is previous insulting, rude and presumptuous and admittedly consistent with danger this is a only suitable element my fiance's mum and dad have been an inter caste marriage once you think approximately that they have been via way of all this discriminatory crap and characteristic come out smarter for it. So I digress, in spite of the shown fact that besides now you be responsive to why persons sense of the main suitable way that Indians cope with interracialal marriage as racist.

No, and I don't think all black women are materialistic. all white people aren't dorky and rich, all mexicans don't work for 2 cents an hour, all blondes aren't dumb, etc., etc. It's what is in your heart and apparently in Wesley's. Maybe all the black women he has dated just happened to be materialistic and that's just how he feels now.

No, but I think people who marry outside their own race have to be realistic and accept their cultural differences might make it difficult for them to live together long term.

If you have pride and respect for your race, you will not date someone of another race. I would never date a woman who would disrespect herself and her race by dating outside of it. I would encourage people of ALL races to have respect for themselves and their race by staying with their own kind.

It is still a free country! You can date whomever you wish.

If we are to accept and live with one another, we need to drop the 1960's attitude about sticking together and judging by skin color.

Forget about race, color and creed.

Maybe she was reacting to his stereotyping black women rather than to his dating non-blacks. Nothing wrong with dating whomever you want.
