I'm concerned only becuz i resumed my periods about 3 months after I gave birth...this began in dec....now april of this year rolled around & i haven't gotten my period since then...I took a pregnacy test which showed positive...however ive had no symptoms...now im not an idiot this would be my third kid....im just concerned that maybe it might be something else....anybody with any situation similar plz help???

I think you're pregnant. You don't necessarily have to have symptoms. With two kids already, maybe you're too busy to notice!

My periods didn't regulate themselves until after I finished nursing my daughter. It could be that you are just irregular, but if you have had a positive test I'd go to the doctor for a blood test. You should find out whether you are pregnant or not so you can start taking vitamins (if you aren't already from breastfeeding) and receiving prenatal care.

About 40% of women breastfeeding on a regular basis do not have a period or are very irratic. It doesn't mean you cannot become pregnant if you are not using pertection. I'm not sure about the pregnancy test thing. I would take another or go to the doctor. I've heard of women having full periods during the begining of their pregnance or even spotting. If your are not sure see your OBGYN or call the nurse.
