HI I wanted to know what people think of their schools dress code today I wore a hockey jersey to school and one of the sponsors on it is Jim Bean which is a company that makes wiskey so they told me to take it of because it sponsored alchohol I thought that was retarded I hate dress codes we should be able to wear whatever we want not what they tell us to what do you think?

I didn't argue because I had to get to my next class and if I got there late I would probably get detention or some other stupid thing.

i personally think all schools should make the kids wear unforms.

I know how ya feel! Yes, I hated the thought of having a dress code in middle school, but as soon as I got out (I was in the 8th grade when it started) I was so happy but at the same time; kind of troubled b/c when we had a dress code, in the mornings you didn't have to worry about picking out your clothes or even at night...it was the same freakin' thing everyday! I still like the fact of having to wear our regular clothes even though having a dress code was easier. High school sure brings about changes...

I think need to grow up a little. You could have said you disagree with dress codes. Your use of the word [retarded] demonstrates your immaturity.

Well, no one's going to sit down, look at a fraction of your shirt, and go "hey, I think I want some alcohol now!" But I don't mind my schools dress code much, I just hate seeing guys having to pull up their baggy pants and tuck in their long shirts. They look like steve erckel.

that was stupid. i went to a school where only one teacher actually cared about enforcing the code. he tried to have me removed for wearing boardshorts. i was going to the beach after school! they werent offensive and they looked like shorts. what was the big deal.

In most cases, dress codes are pretty useless and only make kids hate coming to school even more.

WELL WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL THE CODE WAS STRICT ALSO, AND IT SUCKED. I DONT REALLY UNDERSTAND THE POINT OF IT, BUT I GUESS MAYBE THEY THINK YOU WERE WEARING THE JERSEY TO SUPPORT WHAT HE SELLS, I DONT KNOW. I THINK KIDS SHOULD BE ABLE TO WEAR WHAT THEY WANT AS LONG AS ITS DECENT.

be grateful that at least you dont have to wear uniforms. i do and they suck @$$. i agree with you though, we should be aloud to wear whatever we want.
