It is not Syria's benefit to disarm Hezbollah. Syria was kicked out of Lebanon last year according to the UN resolution. So, Syria was not pleased by UN decision. This time, secretly as a revenge, they supported Hezbollah and contributed to the recent mess in South Lebanon. Syria will pretend to help disarming Hezbollah. US has to kick Syria's butt one day. Syria is more dangerous than Iraq, as most people don't know that.

Weapons from Iran was entering Lebanon through Syria. No I don't think Syria will do anything to disarm Hezbollah. Just how vigorously Syria wiil be to stop the flow of arms is anybodies guess.

Syria will continue to arm Hezbollah when possible. Syria will step-up border patrols to ensure that Hezbollah is armed to the teeth. The $64,000 question is how many members of the Lebanese Army are supported or members of Hezbollah?

as quickly as extra Hezbollah is a Revolutionary Organization 17 November that began the conflict. They concealed at the back of the bodies of their followers and then cried foul whilst Israel bombed them. They concealed protection stress targets in civilian factors or fired from the midst of civilians. i'm fairly sorry for the harmless civilians that have been killed consequently of Hezbollah's manipulations and lies. The terrorists that are feeding the Hezbollah from Iran and Syria at the instant are not from now on suited. yet what makes me fairly unhappy is that such rather some human beings are procuring into the lies the liberal press are spewing forth standard. no one is prepared to do extra to be certain the reality, through fact the reality is frightening and can mean differences. i'm uncertain the place you reside, yet whilst it rather is interior the US, many women and adult males human beings have died to your precise to jot down the stuff you assert. perhaps, while you're so unhappy right here, you may try moving to Iran or Syria and notice how nicely you could show your critiques freely.

I think Syria is not really an icon of truth. Are they also going to stop the 747 that flies in once a quarter to the Lebanon Airport? (the reason the Iraeli's bombed it). The Syrian Government have proven to be liars in the past, and this also will most likely turn out to be just another lie. If Lebanon is willing to risks their lives in believing Syria, then so be it.

Hmm, Syria could indeed help disarm the Lebanese wing of Hizbollah, but it is an organisation much larger than that.
Though, only some Israelites are blaming Syria... Most people point to Iran as being the main culprit behind the Hizbollah's weapons.

My initial answer is "No." But, when the maximum pressure was exerted on Syria, by the UN, to finally pull out of Lebanon, Syria did. So, you just never know for sure.

Syria wants Isreal destroyed too so dont hold your breath. they are making too much money in the supply chain to hezbollah, the palistinians, and any other Terror group that has money to buy weapons.
They are the middle man and buy from China and the old USSR.
Watch the Middle east for more action in the future.
