Do tennis player list actual heights?

I know his height is listed everywhere at 5'11". I am wondering if that is really his height, has anyone ever met him or seen him in person and have any idea?

Andre is actually about 5 10' and 1/4 inch. I know this because I have stood right next to him while talking with him. Andre was also quoted as saying while talking about Japanese player Shuzo Matsuoka. Matsuoka is listed at 6'1 in the ATP media guide. Agassi said "There is no way that guy is 6'1, he is more like 6 3' at least. They have me listed as 5 '11 and everyone on tour knows that is BullSh*t. "

I'm currently a nationally certified Tennis Instructor as well as a former Tennis Umpire. As such, I've called many matches for Andre, as well as many other tennis legends. I can verify that his height is truly 5'11".

I've ball boyed for Andre @ Sybase open (now Siebel Open), he seems shorter than 5'11 (I'm 5'11) but I wouldn't go up and contest that statistic with him. Lets just say he's between 5'10 and 5'11.
