This is a great question, and I have even a greater answer.
There was a town "fool" that hang around any where and every where. Time and then people would feed, pay him some money but mostly kept way from him since he always smelled.
One day he accidentally fell into a little pond in the downtown area.
In the pond he kept on screaming "the world is coming to an end" the world is coming to an end" as he struggled to stay afloat, obviously he did not know how to swim.
Lots of people gathered around the pond and kept watching him.
One person wondered "what is he trying to tell? Is he having some type of vision before his death?" He was not letting the "fool" die with out knowing what he meant. So he jumped into the pond. grabbed the "fool" and dragged him ashore.
Once dried up he asked the "fool" . What do you mean "the world is coming to an end?"
The "fool" got up, smiled a little, and said " Sir: what is left of this word to me if I am gone?" and he walked away.

It does not end, that's why it is called universe. If it had an end in place or/and in time, it would be called "particular" or sth.
The impossibility of universe having an end makes it universal.
There's not logical possibility for the universe having an end; therefore its end cannot be real; hence its ending is not necessary, because only the existent is necessary (and the existent, or the being, is the only thing that is real).
So. If you did not get what I've written, you probably will not have the capacity of thinking of an end for that. For two reasong: because that is an logical impossibility and because you have a IQ very close to the G.W.B., the son.
Ok? I hope I've answerd!

The universe is thought to be between 15 to 20 billion years old, therefore the observed universe is billions of light years distant. There comes a point when distance is meaningless. Infinity means without end, but to me it just means without measure - we're so small and insignificant we may be yet to grasp how big the whole of creation is.

According to the dictionary the universe does not end, but I believe the universe goes in a circle and there are other dimensions outside this universe each one with its own universe and its own plants and life forms. This of course is just a theory.

The universe can only "end" if you believe that there is "nothing" or a big whole seperating what we consider to be matter and that which is not. If that is true, if the universe ends, and there is nothing - the universe cannot exist because "nothing" cannot coexist with "something".

Make a left turn, go almost 14 billion light years, then stop at the light. When the light changes continue carefully--I don't have any directions for you after that.
