I am just so sad all of a sudden. I always thought things happened for a reason and stuff....but then I watch the news and it makes me want to just to cry....I don't feel safe anymore....I always knew that God was watching me and how do I know [when there's so many people in the world] that he cares about ME?
I'm so scared about death, it friggin scares me out of my mind! I don't want to think of myself as just some meaningless particle or something, that just depresses me so much!
I feel like we're all meaningless and we don't even matter....and that we're JUST part of the universe, and even though we're the highest evolved, we're really just nothing anyway. This makes me so sad even more because I know some people who just had to bury 5 BEST FRIENDS who died and its like, we'll never see them again? Nothing matters?
I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm going crazy. I feel so unstable and sort of sick...just someone help somehow?

I LOST MY INNOCENCE...as in I always saw the world a certain way, and it was a really like pure and good way, but now I'm reading about all these different things that are changing my mind and these new ideas are scaring me...

Go see a psychologist. I'm completely serious. If you need some imaginary friend (God) to get through this cruel game we call life, you need some help. Many of us (at least 1.2% of the American population) live with reality everyday. And I can guarantee that if you met me, you would find that my life has been more painful and difficult than yours has ever been. I have no friends. My mother is the only person in the world who cares about whether I live or die.
And there have been a few occasions where I have been kicked out of groups and left completely alone. Do you know why? Because I didn't believe in your god, didn't believe in your pathetic, hateful fairytale. Being a Christian, you probably believe that if I don't accept Jesus, I burn for eternity, right? And you're the one who talks about how much the world sucks?
Religion and intolerance is the cause for almost every war throughout history, every problem we face in the world today. So don't recede into your fairytales, don't hide behind your God, but actually do something to make the world a better place. I'm out.

Well, the fact is that there are forces at work on this planet. Unfortunately people can be evil and do bad things if they want. And bad things just happen. I'm so, so sorry you're going through this right now. Life is hard. So you lost your innocence but you don't have to lose faith. God does care about you. If you live your life the best you can, knowing that Jesus died on the cross so that we who believe don't have to suffer forever... That's what's important. I don't know how old you are, but life is short. Life is very short. And we can suffer forever, here and in hell or we can suffer here and try to please God by seeking His will in our lives. We will experience happiness and misery here on earth but we are promised that we won't suffer in the afterlife.
It's not all pointless. It's OK that you feel the way you do. You could pray... I can pray for you. He does care about you. Please don't think He doesn't.

There is no testimony without the test and sometimes in life we go through things that we don't like. I feel the way you too. I am married and in ministry and I feel as though my innocence is gone in the sense that as a child/youth I used to be pure at heart loving and forgiving and to love like Jesus loved. Now I find myself being hearthearend, cynical, crotecthy, angry and at times really hurt.
I am very sorry for the losses in your life it is sad that bad things happen to good people. Is there someone you can go to for counseling? God will get you through this tough unstable time and if God brings you to it he will bring you through it and you will be a more effective christian able to minister and bless others God does not always make us comfortable but rather makes us comforters. I do care and I would never make fun of what you are going through because I do understand.

Oh sweetie. We all feel like this sometimes. *hug* It's raining and it's miserable and the world has come to some pretty bad things lately. But it'll be ok. Even through everything, I've recently started believing in a high power. It was the little things that won me over. Little things that showed me... He does care. He answers prayers, but you always have to work hard to answer your own prayers as well. You want less violence in the neighborhood? Set up a youth group, start a neighborhood watch, and pray. For guidance, and for others. We'll all pull through together.

The Bible says God cares for us so much He even knows how many hairs are on our head. He knows when a bird falls to the ground. Consider the lilies which God clothes so beautifully, and how much more than that He loves you! His is all-knowing and all-seeing. He sees you in your distress and He cares. Go to a quiet place and pray for His guidance. He is there.

he does care about you b/c he's so great he's with each and every person in the world. you can know that b/c he brings people into your life that care about you but you have to be smart to make sure you keep them close to you and not the fake ones.
