under 25 is to young. I read on a magazine that if you marry over the age of 25 there is a 40% higher chance that you wont get divorced. And plus when your 25 you at least have your career done, or should be almost done, you're more mature and know more what you want than if you were younger. Dont rush into anything... you have the rest of your life to be with someone. Enjoy your time being young and single. Always respecting yourself of course. But when your married you have more responsibilities and things are not the same. SO take your time !

I got married at 22, and have had 6 wonderful years of marriage. When it is too young to get married is the point in time where you do not yet realize how much responisbility it takes to keep a realationship going for years on end,and still think of it as simple fun and being wonderful. You must be able to look at the person you love most in the morning when they look their worst and still think they are drop dead geourgous, you must be able to understand that some night all you will do is talk and fall alseep right after. And above all else you must remember that the first night you go to bed angry is the first night of the end of your marriage. If you already understand this and are of legal age to do so then you are old enough.

I truely believe it has to do with the person. I was just 18 when I married. DH was 19 almost 20. We dated for 5 months. We've been married 27 years.

My cousin was 15 when she married and she is still married after 30 years.

I honestly believe it depends on the person.

Under 25. Talking from expierence, I really think that anything under will make it difficult. You are going to grow and change as a person and if the guy is under 25 forget it!! Nothing feels better than knowing that you can be okay on your own and that no matter what you'll love yourself first and foremost (maybe with the exception of kids) I know people who have made it work, but what's the rush? Might as well know for sure rather than chancing it and ending up divorced by the ripe age of 25 like me :)

Marrying is not for everyone, how sure are you that it is for you ! If is just something you are fanticizing about then you must reconsider the true and clear picture of what being married and what goes into it is about. Now if you want to talk about the right time, is when you can take care of yourself w/ your own strength (work) .
