I only make 8 dollars an hour at a shoe store. How can I afford rent over 650 in NEVADA?

I don't think you can. So I think you should get a better job. Like, go to college (unless you are not already in it), and get a part time job somewhere else. Maybe you can work at a Lacoste store, so then you probably will get paid more, and you get a great discount of fabulous Lacoste shirts! Or work at the Apple store.

Your monthly income for 4 1/3 weeks works out to $1385. Rent is $650, so you have 735 left for taxes, food and utilities.
You could try working overtime if you get paid extra for it.
You could try finding a cheaper apartment.
You could look for a room mate.
There are no rich men in Las Vegas, so that's probably not an option.
You could look for a better paying job.
I am sure you already know what all of your options are. It helps to vent sometimes.

Well Brittany, The only way you're going to afford anything on your salary is to:

1) Sell more (if you work on commision)
2) Get anther job (part-time, assuming you're working full-time)
3) Start interviewing for roommates.
4) Pray your tush off that you win the lottery.
5) Marry into a boat-load of money.

First, get a reliable roommate. Second, secure a position as a waitress or bartender at an expensive restaurant while you're taking college courses during the day. Do this while you are young - 20's because the years slip away. Good Luck!

well - actually you might be able to do it if you are making $8.00 an hour - but it depends on how many hours you are working. Your total gross in a four week period (assuming 40 hr work week) would be $1280.00. Ideally you need to get yourself a roommate and split the costs.
