The problem is the fact your motherboard has been infected with tons of viruses. There is nothing you can do to get rid of them. Your pc is dead. You are going to have to get it trashed and start with a new one. Those viruses have already gotten into your messengers and emailed them to your friends. Now those other pc's are already infected. And you are to blame. Now you have to live with it. Or you can do one thing that will save yours and everyone elses pc.
this is what you must do.
you will need some tools. After you collected your hammer and your sledge hammer and a couple of peices of wood and some matches this is what you must do. Nortons is on one part of the motherboard and you must destroy it. Take out your mother boardand go to the table. Sit down and examine it. Nortons is usually on the lower left hand side of the motherboard. So grab your hammer and destroy that section of the motherboard. After that is done take the peices of the motherboard that you destroyed and take it to your fireplace. Now you must collect the hot embers from your fireplace and put your motherboard back into your pc. put your motherboard back in and take those hot embers and put them onto the connections between your pc and your motherboard. after your motherboard is welded to your pc you are ready to your pc back together and restart your pc and you are ready to go again. Turn on your pc and norton's should be gone forever and you didnt have to uninstall it again.

Run an anti-spyware program like Spybot or Windows Defender to remove spyware. But what it sounds like is that your notification is a form of spyware....a spyware company trying to get you to buy their product.

hi, that maybe a virus, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

Run a virus scan quick, these can be hoaxes, trojan horse viruses that when you click on them open up a portal for other viruses to get through. Make sure you always have up to date virus scanning software on your computer.

It's malware, I had that. You need to find out what is and then use the appropriate program to remove it.
