seme and uke are terms used in a boy x boy relationship. seme is the dominant male in the relationship while uke is the submissive partner.

The terms uke and seme are widely used in yaoi(boyxboy) and yuri(girlxgirl) manga relationships to describe the sex roles of the individuals. They can also, however, be applied to real life relationships. The uke is usually the more feminine/submissive of the two and is also the one being penetrated during intercourse.
