Us taking Iraq's oil was just some more Democrat and terrorists' lies.
Intelligent people realize that now.
The US gives. We never take.
Perhaps we should, just to make Democrats squeal.

Stealing oil wasn't the purpose. It was controlling the oil. Since the war, oil companies have experienced the highest profits of any companies in the history of capitalism in the history of the world.

I never really thought the war was about oil, but is it a coincidence that the president is an oil guy, the vice-president comes from oil folk, they take the country to war, and oil companies have the highest profits in history?

Also, wasn't that oil supposed to pay for Iraq's rebuilding? Where'd that revenue go? Why has it all been on American taxpayers?

The "stealing" you are refering to is what Syria, France and certain other cou tries were doing by obtaining Iraqi oil illegally without going through the Food-For-Oil program.

"Stealing" is what many people, including Annan's son were doing, taking money to not report that there was plenty of oil being sold, but not much food being bought.

By liberating Iraq the oil supply opened up because the Food-For-Oil program was dropped. But even though more oil was available the hostilities raised prices... on the commodities market, not the actual price per barrel being paid.

When something bad happens the price at the pump jumps up immediately. After it passes it takes six months for the cheaper price to be reflected at the pump. It defies logic but we fall for it everytime.

It's not the oil they want but the oil contracts.
Who's stealing them?
Haliburton?

"But the biggest prize, by far, will be the contracts to rebuild and develop Iraq’s vast oil resources, which some analysts believe could eventually rival Saudi Arabia as the world’s biggest source of oil. Though the country’s badly neglected oil infrastructure now produces a fraction of global supplies, much of its potential reserves remain unexplored".

You did want an honest answer, didn't you?
